Mico the Best
Turatsinze Nkiko Prosper (born 1985) professionally known as Mico The Best is a multitalented Rwandan musician.[1]. He started his music career in 2008 with releasing his single 'Umuzungu', and after he kind of stopped his music to join audio production and helping upcoming artists[2]. In 2013, Mico joined former popular record label 'Super Level' to continue his career, where he left in 2017[3]. Since 2019, Mico has made music under Kikac Music Label[4].
Background
Mico was born in 1985 in Gikondo, Kigali in the capital city of Rwanda. He is number six in a family of eight children[2]. On 26 September 2021, Mico married Ngwinondebe Clarisse[5].
Awards
In 2020, Mico's single 'igare' was awarded as the best song of the summer in the Kiss Summer Awards[6]
