Miles Ryan Harris (born April 24, 1992) is an American Singer-songwriter based in Orange County, California, United States. Born in Atlanta, Georgia (U.S. state) Harris moved to California at the age of 12.

Influences[edit]

Harris has cited[1] artists including André 3000, D'Angelo, and Erykah Badu as musical influences. His solo music ranges in genre from Rhythm and blues to hip hop.

Early life[edit]

Miles is the eldest son of David Ryan Harris. At the age of five his mother and father divorced and he began living with his mother along with his two younger siblings. In 2004 his family relocated to Orange County, California where he currently resides.

Music career[edit]

Miles began writing lyrics at the age of ten and by the age of thirteen had begun recording, mixing, and mastering his own music. Upon moving to California he began releasing music and performing[2] and collaborating with other local artists. He has opened[3] for artists such as YG (rapper), Juicy J, Kreayshawn, and Andre Nickatina. His music led him to attend Los Angeles Recording School for a short period of time, after which he withdrew to focus solely on songwriting. After a string of singles[4] and EPs, Miles took a brief hiatus from recording due to the birth of his first child. His most recent releases include 'Rain in June[5]' and 'Have You Seen Her[6]'.
