Mine Güngör (born January 4, 1983) is a Turkish women's ice hockey player. Currently, she is a member of Istanbul Buz Korsanları team playing as goaltender. She takes part in the Turkey women's national ice hockey team. The 1.73 m (5 ft 8 in) tall woman at 70 kg (150 lb) catches right handed.

Mine Güngör was born in Mamak, Ankara on January 4, 1983. She was educated abroad through the American Public University System.

Club[edit]

She played for Milenyum Paten SK, Başkent Yıldızları and Ankara Emniyet before she transferred to Istanbul Buz Korsanları.[1][3][4] In the 2008-09 season, she enjoyed league championship with Milenyum Paten SK.[3][5] That season, she was named the best goaltender in the league.[5]

International[edit]

Güngör is a member of the national team.[6][7] She was part of the Turkish team at the Ice hockey at the 2011 Winter Universiade - Preliminary round matches in Erzurum, Turkey.[2][8][9][10][11] In goal for the team's 0 - 32 loss to Finland, she was taken to hospital after the game for an injury to her right arm and collarbone following a collision with an opposition player.[9] Güngör played at the 2013 IIHF Women's World Championship Division II Group B qualification matches in Izmir, Turkey.[7][12] In March 2014, she was called up again for the national team.[4]
