Kim Mi-So (Hangul: 김미소; born February 4, 1995)[1], professionally known as Miso (stylized as MiSO) is a South Korean rapper and singer. She debuted as the main rapper and maknae of the girl group Girls Girls in December 2015 under H Brothers Entertainment.

Biography[edit]

1995-2015: Early Life and Career[edit]

Miso was born on February 4, 1995 Gyeonggi, South Korea. In 2014 she joined the line-up on Korean girl group Ye-A after their official debut that year. [2] The group never released any music while she a member and ended up disbanding in 2015 without an official notice.

2015-present: Girls Girls and solo debut[edit]

In December 2015, Miso debuted as a member in the group Girls Girls. The group has released two single albums, Strong Girls in 2015 and Juicy Secret in 2016.[3][4] In late-March 2017, an announcement was made to let fans know of Miso's official debut. On April 10, 2017 she released her first single album, MiSO ALL ACCESS with the single "KKPP".[5] In August 2017, H Brothers Entertainment announced her first comeback with the single album, Pink Lady with a lead single of the same title.[6] On January 21, 2018, Miso's collaboration with singer Jisu, a former member of the group BTL titled Benjamin Button was released as a digital single. Later that month, H Brothers Entertainment announced the Miso Europe Tour 2018. It lasted from January to February of that year. In August 2018, it was announced Miso was working with Makestar to help fund her third single album. The kickstarter closed in December with $6,268 raised.[8] On February 18, 2019, Miso released her third single album, "On N On" with a lead single of the same name. The music video was also released on the same day. [9]
