Miss Universe Nepal 2020, the first ever edition will be held in December 2020. The winner of Miss Universe Nepal 2020 will represent Nepal in the upcoming Miss Universe 2020. The winner will win Rs 10,00,000 million and 1st runner up will under one year contract with Brave Bold Beautiful Ltd. It is supported by Chaudhary Group with Miss Universe Nepal 2017 Nagma Shrestha^[1] as the new National Director from 2020 onwards.^[2]

During a digital press conference on June 11, 2020, it was announced that Miss Universe Nepal will be an all digital competition starting right from the registration; participants will be able to register themselves through the MUN app.^[3] The voting and finalist selection will also be conducted virtually. This will be the first ever beauty pageant in which all the in-between procedures of the contest before the finale is happening digitally through the help of Miss Universe Nepal App.

The live pageant will be broadcast live for the Nepalese at home and abroad in AP1 TV.
