History[edit]
Founded in 2002 by President & CEO, G. David Cartwright, and COO, Steve Goodman, both longtime industry executives.
Operating under the tag line of “Bring it On,” Mobile Edge has become a well known name within the Ultrabook and tablet computer carrying case industry online[1][2] and in brick and mortar retail stores.[3]
Products[edit]
Mobile Edge produces laptop bags[4] which include messenger bags[5] with stabilizing straps, Utrabook[6] computer cases and sleeves, backpacks,[7] briefcases, portfolios, totes, handbags, vertical load briefcases and Checkpoint Friendly Laptop Bags[8] that are Transportation Security Administration (TSA) compliant. Several laptop bags accommodate laptops with large wide screens up to 18.4",[9] small 8" Tablets,[10] and most other popular laptop screen sizes.
The company also produces several laptop accessories including Bluetooth headsets, USB hubs and card readers, laptop computer locks, and multimedia remote controls. Mobile Edge designs women's stylish laptop bags, and offers the only TSA compliant laptop bags designed specifically for women. Recently, Mobile Edge introduced Tablet ScanFast Cases unique to the retail market.
