MonitGlass is a cloud-based manufacturing execution system (MES) developed by Polish company Monit s.c. for the glass processing industry.[1] The software is used by small and medium-sized glass processing enterprises for production management and order tracking.[2]
History
The software was released in 2017 by Monit s.c., a company based in Warsaw, Poland. The system was developed with the goal of implementing just-in-time manufacturing principles in glass processing facilities.[1]
In 2024, support for imperial units was added alongside metric units, expanding availability to markets in the United States and United Kingdom.[3]
A new version with additional functionality was released in 2025.[4]
Overview
MonitGlass is designed for companies producing insulated glass units, laminated glass, tempered glass, and monolithic glass.[1]
The software implements just-in-time (JIT) methodology by providing real-time visibility into production status, enabling manufacturers to coordinate order processing, material preparation, and production scheduling to minimize inventory and reduce lead times.[2]
