The brand is owned by Rod Anker Hair Stylists Private Limited (RAHSPL). RAHSPL was founded by celebrity Australian Hair Stylist Rod Anker, more commonly known as Rod.[1]

Founder[edit]
Born in Victoria, Australia, Rod Anker started his career in hair dressing in 1986. In a very short span of time, he became a regular at fashion magazines in Australia and United Kingdom.
Within a span of just four years in India, Rod has managed to grab media attention and has received numerous awards, making him the most awarded stylist in India. He was awarded as Vogue Colourist of the year 2012, adding to his illustrious list of award including ‘Preferred Salon’ by Harper’s Bazaar Editor 2012, Official hairdresser for NDTV show ‘I’m too Sexy for my Shoes’, multiple times winner for various industry competitions, named among Top 10 international stylist, brand Columnist for Elle, Harpers and more. Early Life[edit]
He started his career at an early age of 16 in Melbourne Australia, soon after was nominated the apprentice of the year. He has learnt the craft from the Leaders in the Industry and has submersed himself in the art of hairdressing. He has travelled miles to educate the industry via workshops and seminars. In late 2009, Rod (who had joined Kim Robinson in 2008 and had worked with the company in Singapore, Hong Kong and Beijing) moved to India as the creative director to establish Kimrobinson Salon in India at Aman Hotel in Delhi. Kim Robinson is commonly referred to as "The Pioneer of the Asian luxury hair market". Rod’s natural progression to open his own salon and take the Industry to a new level in India led to born of the brand Monsoon Salon & Spa.

Monsoon Salon & Spa currently operates nine company-owned salon & spas in Delhi-NCR. The company aims to set up 30 additional company-owned salons over the span of five years taking the total to 39. All the branches of Monsoon Salon & Spa are based on COCO model (Company Owned Company Operated). Monsoon Salon and Spa has been awarded with the 'Best Spa and Salon Chain in Delhi' title for the year 2013 by World Travel Brands at Hotel Radisson Blu, New Delhi.
