Moofaces is an image-based social discovery platform for inspiring images and videos. The goal is to share your creativity and what you love in a fun and easy way with like-minded people. Moofaces launched a new private beta February 19, 2014.
History[edit]
The name "Moofaces" was created in the summer of 2007 by Tavares Antonio Robinson "Greenberg" and its beta version released within a few months in order to experiment with its targeted audience and general public's response.[citation needed] Tavares started testing out different side projects with the Moofaces name in North Hollywood, California on and off in 2008 -2012. Then Tavares met Ozlem Bilis in 2009 from a common friend and started studying computer science together.
In 2013 Tavares relocated and started changed the idea of Moofaces and moved to Sunnyvale, California. They wanted to be closer to the greatest minds or the world's smartest people.
Moofaces TV[edit]
Moofaces TV is an online inspirational and entertainment channel. Moofaces TV launched in 2009 and later merged with Moofaces.com. Numerous creatives, technology CEOs and celebrities have been on Moofaces TV such as Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith, Paris Hilton, Nicky Hilton, David Sacks, Fergie, Dave McClure, Snoop Dogg, Josh Duhamel, and 50 Cent.[citation needed]
