Production[edit]
Development[edit]
In October 2006, Marvel Studios partnered with No Equal Entertainment to produce a live-action television series centered around Moon Knight.[1] By 2008, Marvel hired writer Jon Cooksey to develop the series, but for unknown reasons the series lingered in development hell.[2] Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige re-confirmed his commitment to introduce Moon Knight into the Marvel Cinematic Universe in April 2018 but questioned, "Does that mean five years from now, 10 years from now, 15 years from now?".[3]
In August 2019, Marvel Studios announced at the 2019 D23 conference that series based on the characters Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, and She-Hulk were being developed for the Disney+ streaming service.[4]
