The Morimura Group (森村グループ, Morimura Gurūpu) is a keiretsu descended from the Morimura zaibatsu (森村財閥), a small zaibatsu founded by the Morimura brothers Ichizaemon and Toyo in 1876 by the establishment of Morimura-gumi.[1] In 1904, the brothers established Nippon Toki, which spun off its sanitary ware manufacturing into Toyo Toki Company in 1917. Toyo Toki spun off its insulator manufacturing into NGK Insulators exactly two years later. After the Pacific War, it was converted into a keiretsu, now called the Morimura Group.

The Morimura Group's primary focus is in the ceramics industry. Morimura-gumi was a large exporter of ceramic products; it would undertake production of ceramics by itself by the establishment of Nippon Toki.[1] The Group currently consists of the Noritake Co., Limited (the former Nippon Toki); toilet manufacturer Toto Ltd. (the former Toyo Toki); NGK Insulators; NGK Spark Plug; Ōkura Tōen (Okura Art China), a premium china manufacturer; and Morimura Bros., a privately held sogo shosha and successor to Morimura-gumi, which remains under the Morimura family's control.[1]
