Muhammad Khair Al shaal
Muhammad Khair Al Shaal (1970) is a dentist, scientist and Islamic teacher. He is also a Syrian writer born in the city of Damascus, Syria, in Al Salhiyeh neighborhood. He is married to Safaa Al-Juban and has three children: Asmaa, Nour Al-Huda, and Abdul Rahman.[1]
He performs dental operations in his private clinic, as well as preaching in a number of mosques in Damascus. He is a presenter for several television and radio shows, both recorded and live.[2] He has a collection of writings, some in their tenth edition, which he has sold more than a million copies.[3]
Muhammad obtained a clearance in dentistry from the University of Damascus, and a Doctorate from Omdurman Islamic University.

- He studied in Damascus schools, where he obtained three secondary certificates: First, the scientific certificate in 1986, then the sharia certificate in 1987 and lastly, the literary certificate in 1990.
- He graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry in 1992, and was in the top 10 students in his grade.
- He studied in the Fundamentals of Religion at Omdurman Islamic University 1994. He graduated with high honors in 1998.
- He obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Hadith and Sunnah in 1999.
- He obtained a master's degree in Sunnah and Hadith Sciences (2002).
- He received his Ph.D. with a thesis titled "A Predicate Study of the Narratives of the Reasons for Revelation in Surat Al-Baqarah" in the field of Sunnah and Hadith Sciences from Omdurman Islamic University in 2009.
- He obtained the clearance of the Six Books and Muwatta Malik at the hands of Sheikh Iqbal Ahmed Al-Azami Al-Ansari Al-Hindi and Sheikh Rafiq Ahmed Al-Pakani, and a clearance with narrations and the books of his teacher of Hadith, Professor Nur Al-Din Atr.
- He studied the sciences of advocacy and education at the hands of Sheikh Ahmed Kaftaro, and he read some of the Qur’an at the hands of Sheikh Adnan Gurrah.
Career[edit]
He worked as an instructor at the Islamic Dawah College, Damascus Branch, and the Faculty of Fundamentals of Religion, Omdurman University, Damascus Branch from 2000 to 2011. He has since lectured at the Higher Institute of Al-Sham for Sharia and Arabic Sciences and Islamic Studies and Research in the colleges of Sharia, law, Islamic Economics and the Faculty of Fundamentals of Religion.
He has preached in the mosques of Damascus and its countryside since 1990. He is currently the preacher of the Anas bin Malik mosque in the Al-Malikiyah district in Damascus.
He was an Islamic Studies teacher at the Ministry of Awqaf in the mosques: Al-Rahman, Al-Hakim, Dak Al-Bab, and Anas bin Malik. He was the director of the Holy Quran Institute. He worked as Director of the Directorate of Guidance in the Ministry of Awqaf in the Syrian Arab Republic during the year (2010), and then as a follower of the family and child file in the Ministry to this day. He Participated in preparing the national strategy to combat violence against women for the years 2012-2016, and the national strategy to combat AIDS in 2010. He also participated in preparing the second and third national report of CEDAW submitted to the CEDAW Committee at the United Nations. He then participated in preparing a number of draft laws related to the family and children.
He was a lecturer at the Preachers Rehabilitation Center and Human Development at the Ministry of Awqaf. He conducts and supervises rehabilitation courses for married life since 2007 until present.
He is a founding member of the Al-Baraka Association for Social Development specialized with vocational and scientific rehabilitation. He is a member of the Council of the College of Sharia and Law at Bilad Al-Sham University, Sheikh Ahmed Kaftaro Complex branch, since 2012.
