Murder of Olly Stephens

On 3 January 2021, 13-year-old Olly Stephens was stabbed to death in Reading, Berkshire, by two boys following a dispute on social media. Stephens had been lured to Bugs Bottom fields by a girl, and subsequently attacked by two boys with knives.[1][2] On 26 July 2021, the two 14-year-old boys were convicted of murder at Reading Crown Court. The 14-year-old girl who lured Stephens was also charged with manslaughter and perverting the course of justice.[3]
