Mvix also known as Mvix Digital Signage is an American Software company that develops content management software for digital signage.[1]

History[edit]

Mvix was founded in 2005 and headquartered in Sterling, VA in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area, with support operations in California and R&D in India.[2]

As of today, the Mvix software is powering over 50k digital signage systems in over 29 countries.[3] Mvix offers digital signage solutions to other businesses.[4] Among the company's top customers include NASA, Sodexo, Discovery Channel, Virginia Tech, Nike and many others.[5]

In 2018, Mvix expanded their software to support third-party hardware, starting with LG SoC Signage Screens and BrightSign players.[6] In the same 2018, the company launched the Annual Digital Signage Champion Awards which recognizes achievement by end users responsible for implementing and designing digital signage networks, campaigns and content.[7]

In 2019, Mvix added over 150 business data sources to their digital signage software.[8] Among them include Salesforce, Google Analytics, HubSpot, MySQL, QuickBooks, Shopify, Netsuite and others.[8]

Partnerships[edit]

In 2018, Mvix Partnered with MJ Freeway for POS-Integrated Dispensary Menus.[9] In 2019, the company partnered with AOPEN to deliver chrome-based digital signage solution.[10]

In January 2020, Mvix entered into partnership with BrightSign to deliver one-time cost digital signage solution.[11][12]

Products and services[edit]

Mvix’s core product offering is digital signage solutions. Every solution will include digital signage software and hardware, specifically, media players.[13][14] The company provides digital signage hardware, specifically, media players.[15] In addition, Mvix also offers services that include hardware installation, content creation, implementation, and managed services.[16]

Mvix is a Saas platform that offers two options: business owners using third-party hardware pay to access the software but those using Mvix hardware get the software for free.[17]
