Mengesha Issac Francis (born June 13, 1971), known professionally as Mystro The Black Liberace, is an American composer, pianist, keyboardist, songwriter, and Nord Keyboard[1] recording artist. Born in South Los Angeles, California. Mystro, who got his nickname from West Coast Rap Producer "Battlecat", started playing piano at the tender age of 5 years old. Later, at the age of 13 years old, Mystro was being managed by Robert Feldman, the father of 80's actor Corey Feldman. The company at the time was "New Talent Enterprises." Mystro also learned and developed a playing style of Gospel, Hip-Hop, and Jazz. Mystro's piano and keyboard influences range from Stravinsky, Thelonious Monk, Billy Preston, and Herbie Hancock, and Liberace.

After graduating from high school in 1989, Mystro attended UCLA and West LA College and was discovered by music industry professionals. He continued his training and worked as a music teacher with Heavenly Vision Christian Academy from 1991–1995. Mystro worked professionally with seasoned Rap and R&B recording artists Jodeci. Mystro produced the intro track 1 on The Album Lunitik Muzik [Lunitik Muzik|The Luniz]]. He also worked with Chris Brown, Warren G, and Janet Jackson. Mystro's keyboard skills can be heard in the trailer for the new "Jordan Peele" thriller "Us" and (I Got 5 On It). Mystro has also been a member of The Professional Musicians Union Local 47 since 2000. Some of his musical production work can be found on MCA Records, Capitol Records, Interscope Records, Warner Music Group, and Virgin Records. In 2013, Mystro got an endorsement deal with Nord Keyboards, a worldwide musical keyboard company in Stockholm, Sweden. In 2014, Mystro performed at the "Academy Awards" Oscar Party hosted at the Beverly Hills Mansion for "Children Uniting Nations" sponsored by "The Michael Jackson Estate".
