National Maritime Foundation
The National Maritime Foundation (NMF) is an intellectual think tank in India for comprehensive policy-level research on maritime security. Its need was long felt to redress the historical neglect of the government regarding pertinent issues of maritime security; however, its area of work includes the entire spectrum of disciplines that are of India's maritime interest, like ship-building, port modernisation, disaster management at high seas, laws of the sea, as well as a proactive approach to curtail marine pollution.
