Nemessis is a Colombian Technical deathgrind band, composed of musicians with diverse musical trends, focused on its own proposal and versatile, being an amalgam of death metal, progressive metal, deathcore, djent, extreme metal and grindcore.

History

Muerte por ley (Death by Law) (2007)

Nemessis formed in Bogotá, Colombia, in 2007 by drummer Enrique Buitrago, Robinson Hernandez bassist, vocalist Carlos Rojas, and guitarists John Hernandez and Mario Sandoval. The group recorded a single titled "Muerte por ley (Death by Law)" in 2007. In early 2008, Carlos is removed from the band and Ivan Ortega enters in vocal performance.

Esquizodie (Schizoid) (2009–10)

In 2009, the band presents a reformation in which bassist Bryan Perez replaces Robinson Hernandez, and Jorge Gantiva enters instead of Jhon Hernandez. Shortly after the reformation, their second single Schizoid was released.

In the year 2010, Bryan Perez is removed from the lineup, Jorge Gantiva is responsible for the execution of Bass in study, and with this formation the debut album of the band Esquizoide (Schizoid) is released.

In the second half of the year 2010, Mario Sandoval is removed from the band and bassist Gabriel Peña enters.

En linea a la Aniquilación (In line to the Annihilation) (2011)

En linea a la Aniquilación (In line to the Annihilation), the second album of the band, was recorded in late 2010 and released in April 2011. The band performed the album's release in the city of Pereira alternating with the Canadian band Kataklysm, in the framework of the Latin American Tour. Then several concerts are held in Bogota, including at the iconic air theater La Media Torta with the band Masacre (band Colombia).

Environment (2012–13)

In the year 2012, the band recorded their next album, Environment. With this album, the band caught the attention of record labels No Label from Indonesia and Mayko's records from Mexico, which they released the album in 2013.

Synergistic Evolution (2013–present)

In the middle of the year 2013, the band makes the release of the single Sinergistic Evolution, which was included in the collection Soundcheck audio online digital magazine Lost In Chaos of Indonesia.

Jorge Gantiva left the band in mid-2014, and the band soon found replacement Gabriel Kuklinski. With this formation, the band participates in several compilations, with the song Muerde la Muerte to the tribute to the Ultrametal band Reencarnación (Colombian band ) in late 2014, and with the theme Green Hell as part of the Colombian tribute to Misfits (band) in mid-2015. In the second half of 2015, Enrique Buitrago and Gabriel Kuklinski are removed from the formation of the band and Daniel Caycedo enters on guitars.
