Nevada Blood Donation Day

In response to local blood shortages, Nevada Blood Donation Day was created by Governor Brian Sandoval in April 2015 at the request of syndicated radio host, Dr. Daliah Wachs. This helped spawn National Blood Donation Day and National Blood Donation Week in 2016.
