New Media Partners Ltd (nmp), is a research-led consultancy that works in the digital media and technology sectors. Its board members include Danny Meaney, Managing Director;[1] Gerry Docherty, Chairman;[2] Nicola Cole, Director; Mairi Robertson, Director; and Caron Oliver, Finance Director.

nmp was established in Glasgow in October 1999 by Danny Meaney and Nicola Cole[3] and has offices in Glasgow, Manchester and London. The company works across the broadcasting, technology and public sectors for organisations including BBC, Channel 4, RDF, Endemol Group, Siemens, Sony, BT, Orange and Nokia.

nmp has a research and consulting arm, operating in the areas of market research; market analysis and market mapping; company profiling; development of online information tools; studies; business planning and financial planning; company support and growth strategies; IP exploitation strategies; and training modules.

nmp provides strategic planning for organisations and cities in transition. The company facilitates collaboration between real estate developers, government agencies, investors, universities, digital media and technology companies, and local communities to create integrated developments. The company also helps to create business locations for digital media and technology industries for organisations including MediaCityUK,[4] BBC Bristol, Pacific Quay Digital Media Quarter[5][6][not in citation given] and King Abdullah Economic City Media City in Saudi Arabia.

The nmp Accelerate Programme is a mentoring scheme for digital media businesses. The programme incorporates a mentoring programme for high growth businesses, skills training on creative-industry specific issues and management and leadership training.
