Nicktoons is a children's TV channel launched in Albania on July 14, 2020, replacing Comedy Central Extra. The channel is available with subtitles in Albanian. An Albanian track might get released after the pandemic is over, as a Viacom International employee said.
History[edit]
Although Nicktoons was not available in Albania until recently as a separate TV channel, its programs are broadcast on Çufo, Bang Bang and Junior TV as a deal has been made between Viacom and Digitalb.[1][2]
Nickelodeon signed an agreement with DigitAlb in 2010 to distribute its content dubbed in Albanian. Although before that, SpongeBob SquarePants aired in Albania from 2007 to 2013 on Top Channel.
