Nils Jensen
Nils Jensen has been mayor of Oak Bay, British Columbia since 2011[1] and had previously been a member of the community's municipal council for 15 years. Prior to becoming mayor, Jensen was a crown attorney in Victoria, British Columbia and adjunct professor at the University of Victoria's Faculty of Law.[2] In 2003, Jensen was a candidate in the for the leadership of the British Columbia New Democratic Party and came in second on first ballot and third place on the second and final ballot.
