George V. Harvie is a Canadian politician and the current mayor of Delta, British Columbia.
Harvie served as Delta's city manager from 2001 to 2018, retiring in May 2018.[1] In 2018 municipal elections, he ran for the office of mayor in Delta, after Mayor Lois Jackson declined to run for another term.[2] He won 39.56 percent of the vote, beating other candidates such as former Delta police chief, Jim Cessoford, and city councilor, Sylvia Bishop.
