Niranjan UKM (born 10 October 2002) is an Indian actor who predominantly works in Malayalam films. He made his debut in 2012 with the film Thuppakki. His breakthrough roles were in the films Singam 2 (2013), Godha (2017) and Oru Adaar Love (2019). He starred as the titular character in the Kannada film Veera Simha Reddy (2023).
He won the Vadakedathamma Puraskkaram for his performance in Singam 2 (2013). He also won the Thekedathamma Puraskkaram and Manjadi Comic Awards for his performance in Godha (2017). For his constantly evolving looks and style, Niranjan is ranked among the most desirable men from Kerala as published by the Kochi Times, which, in 2020, ranked him first. In 2022, Niranjan won the Thriloka Puraskaram, for Oru Adaar Love and Lucifer.
Early life
Niranjan was born in Panjal, Thrissur. He completed primary schooling from GHSS Panjal, Thrissur and secondary (Plus Two) schooling from GHSS Panjal and graduated with a master's degree in computer application from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Mysuru Campus, Mysuru, Karnataka. He was a part of the handball team of GHSS Panjal School and also served as the school leader. He was active in sports, fitness and modeling.
