  1. "Quadrant"
    Released: July 4th, 2025

|Genre=Experimental hip hop • British hip hop • Grime • Trap • Rage • Conscious hip hop • Industrial hip hop}Nitro Euphoria (styled as Nitro Euphoria*) is the debut studio album by British rapper and record producer Tyze Nitro. It was released on July 12, 2025 through Tyze's independent label, Tixplosive* and Bandcamp. It features guest appearances from Malachi Wave, Billy BanKs, JAYYY, G-Regular, BabySlumpp, AK!, Neo, Huey Evergreen & RayyJayy. It was entirely produced by Tyze Nitro, with the concept being behind the soundscapes and music he heard during his upbringing in London and Luton. The album has been teased since January 2025 with the lead single, "Quadrant" releasing seven months later. The album received critical acclaim, putting more of Tyze's sound on the map in the underground.

Background

Prior to Nitro Euphoria's release, Tyze dropped his critically acclaimed ninth mixtape, BL00DY OC10BER, which is said by Nitro to have had its conception developed during the making of BL00DY OC10BER. Tyze said in January 2025, he was going to drop an album called The Warrior vs. His Demons with the long-awaited 4Negative album ZEUS NITROGREEN and his self-titled album, which would have started production in December 2024. Soon, Nitro would say that he exhausted his efforts on the project and said "it will never see the light of day". In February 2025, Tyze would say he planned to release an album by April or May later that year, showing he might have gotten down to that other album he said, which would come with The Warrior vs. His Demons. On April 17th, 2025, his 15th birthday, he would announce he had been devoting his time to the project and couldn't wait to release it. He later said that the project was finished but wants a music video for the lead single and has been waiting for it and won't drop the album until the music video was filmed. On May 21st, after gambling with the Europa League final of Tottenham Hotspur, a team Tyze supports, vs Manchester United, Tyze said if Tottenham would win he would drop a snippet of the lead single. After the result being 1–0 to Tottenham, with them winning their first trophy since February 2008, on May 23rd, Tyze dropped a snippet of what would be the lead single of the album, "Quadrant". The snippet received positive feedback. On June 14th, Tyze would say he finally got to make the "Quadrant" music video and that it would release soon. On June 17th, Tyze dropped the cover and the name for his upcoming project, Nitro Euphoria*. He also announced the date and the features with it too. On June 19th, Tyze announced that Nitro Euphoria* would also get a vinyl and CD release. He would later say that Nitro Euphoria* will be his proper debut album and that everything that came before would now be considered mixtapes. On July 2nd, Tyze dropped a snippet of the opening track, "Pilot", with the announcement that "Quadrant" would drop in full on July 4th. The next day, Nitro announced the track list. Nitro Euphoria* dropped July 12th. On the same day, Nitro said "Pilot" would receive a music video which would drop a week later. The documentary for Nitro Euphoria* dropped on July 14th. The music video for "Fear" would drop on July 24th. After weeks of battling with distributors, Nitro Euphoria* got its streaming release on July 30th. Tyze said he fought hard for it to be on streaming. Quantum Ray's music video would drop on August 5th, making Nitro Euphoria* Tyze's most visual project.

Composition

With Tyze producing all of the tracks, he incorporates a nostalgic concept for himself. The production on Nitro Euphoria* is very rap-based but diverse through the subgenres of hip hop, ranging from grime, industrial hip hop, boom bap, trap, rage, and alternative rap. Some tracks are pitched up 50 semitones and include layered synths, experimental chord progressions, and are quite sample-based. These sample choices represent what Tyze used to hear when he was growing up. Lyrically, Tyze goes from rapping about some of his most personal material with the average, same witty, teenage, and skillful lyricism you'd hear on a Tyze project.

Recording

Tyze has said the development for Nitro Euphoria* started from July 2024, ranging from the near end of his Kendrick's Fiver series and BL00DY OC10BER. Tyze says this has been recorded in various places around the world, from his house, a Belgian Centre Parcs, Florida, and Lisbon International Airport. This has also been recorded probably through the recording process of the upcoming 4Negative album. Tyze said he had listened to multiple albums and artists, old and new, for inspiration. He did cite, possibly in terms of concept, Kendrick Lamar's Good Kid, M.A.A.D City and J. Cole's 2014 Forest Hills Drive as influences. Tyze also said he cites Pink Floyd as an influence and the diversity and flows of Miami rapper Denzel Curry. Tyze's guest vocalists were at the biggest he has commissioned on an album at this time.
