Background
In August 2021, Tyze and Huey met in school and befriended each other. In September 2021, they would form 4Negative under multiple aliases. They went under Kurupted808, BlackWrk and most notably, April's Abominations. In November 2021, Tyze would announce that him and Huey have been working on a collab album. This would be in the process of Tyze's comeback from a hiatus and during his process of The Red October EP and Defuse! and during Huey's production of his mixtapes, Humox-5 and IGDOOF! During the four year process of this, Tyze and Huey would feature on each others projects and release songs with each other. They have been teasing more of the album a lot during this period. Tyze has said they were multiple versions of the album but the final release version's process started in 2024. In August 2024, Tyze would announce that the album would be called MONKEY SCR0TUM. Later on, it would be called DM US D3ATH THREATS. In late November 2024, Tyze and Huey would announce the name changed from April's Abominations to 4Negative and the album name will be changed.
On New Year's Eve 2024, Huey would announce the new 4Negative album was in high development. This would merge between the production of Huey's album, Huemeister and Tyze Nitro's debut album, since changing his name from Trinitezy to Tyze Nitro, Nitro Euphoria* and his self-titled and sophomore album. On October 10th, 2025, the promo single titled "Blonde Black Friday Vinyl" would drop with the announcement that the long anticipated album would drop on 17th October. The lead single "Wasabi Hustle" would drop on October 14. This album would follow Tyze's Nitro Euphoria* and his self titled album and follow Huey's run consisting of his two albums, Huemeister and Subliminals, The Grips EP, initially a mixtape called Essence of the Quagga (abbreviated as EOTQ) and his other mixtape Kyzerhead Hour. A physical release is yet to come and will include Blonde Black Friday Vinyl. A music video for Wasabi Hustle would drop on October 26.
Composition
Tyze Nitro and Huey Evergreen would produce each track individually. Huey would produce Thunderdome, Niggas on Demand, BNO, Ox Law and THANK YOU DJ SCREW, while Tyze produced Wasabi Hustle, News of the World and The Pain We Suffered. It is mostly sample based drawing from samples from UK garage to jazz. It is noted for its very experimental and boom bap sound. Some have gone on to compare to the English underground equivalent to JPEGMafia and Danny Brown's collab album, Scaring the Hoes, which Tyze has gone on to say has drawn some inspiration to the project.
Recording
Many versions of ZEUS NITROGREEN has been made drawing from 2021. Tyze and Huey have been working on this version since 2024.
