Nityanand Misra is an author based in Mumbai.[1] He works in the investment banking industry.[2][3] He has edited and authored seven books in Sanskrit, Hindi, and English.[1][4] Born in Lucknow, Misra is an MBA from IIM Bangalore.[3][5] His book Kumbha The Traditionally Modern Mela was received well stating "...Nityananda Misra takes the reader on a whirlwind journey through the modern Kumbha Mela..."[6]
