Nutcache is a privately held Agile project management application service provider based in Laval, Quebec, Canada. The company also has offices in Brazil. It was brought to life in 2013 by two entrepreneurs, Alain Nadeau and Sebastien Boyer [1], with several years of experience and a proven track record (Alain Nadeau is also the founder of Dynacom Technologies, a well-known Canadian-based accounting software).

    History[edit]

Back in 2013, Nutcache launched as a free simple multilingual invoicing and time tracking app[2]. In May 2015, Nutcache took the collaborative turn by integrating project management and other financial aspects to become an all-in-one project management application [3] [4] . On the recommendation of Sebastien Boyer, Nutcache’s COO and CPO and a vocal advocate of Agile principles and practices [5], Nutcache adopted a new strategy by embracing the Agile approach in July 2017 [6][7]. After being offered for over 4 years, Nutcache discontinues its free edition in July 2017. [8]

    Product[edit]

Nutcache is a web-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) and sold by subscription. Its key features include tools to manage the entire project delivery lifecycle. The application is available in English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Italian, Polish and Russian.

    Features[edit]

Nutcache provides businesses with tools and features to manage projects based on Agile’s most popular methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.

While the main focus of the application is project management, time tracking, expense management and invoicing are also included. [9]

    Mobile[edit]

Nutcache offers a time tracking mobile app available on both Android[10] and iOS[11] platforms.
