Ogunsan Ayodele
Ogunsan Ayodele (born 6 October 1976) is a Nigerian entrepreneur, educationist, and government official.[1] He talked at the Africa Security Watch Conference in Doha. He said policing should focus more on people.[2] He is the founder of the Executive Group, and has served in several government offices, including as a board member of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF).[3] In 2024, he was appointed as the chairman of Lagos State Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV) by the Nigeria Police Force.[4][5] He was also named an International Peace Advocate by the Positive Livelihood Award Centre (UN-POLAC) the same year.[6]

Early life and career
He was born on 6 October 1976 in Ado Ekiti, Nigeria. He studied Business Administration at the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti. He also pursued further education at institutions such as Lagos Business School, Oxford Brookes University, and Harvard University.[7] He is the founder and chairman of the Executive Group, which comprises subsidiaries in educational consulting, automobile sales and services, logistics, and media. In June 2020, he was appointed by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to the Board of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF).[8] In April 2024, the Nigeria Police Force appointed him Chairman of the Lagos State Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV).[9] He has also held educational governance positions. In January 2025, he was reappointed to the Board of Trustees of Caleb University, Imota,[10] and in July 2024 he was appointed to the Advisory Board of the Centre for Digital Humanities (CEDHUL) at the University of Lagos.[11] In July 2025, he was named chairman of The Ambassadors Summit 7.0, a youth leadership and empowerment event.[12] He was nominated for the Golden Star Award for Security and Safety Advocacy in West Africa at the 18th Africa Security Watch Conference,[13] and has received honors such as the National Daily Excellence in Leadership and Service Award.[14][15] He was also named Man of the Year (Security) by The Pride Magazine.[16] In 2025, he was made Chairman of The Ambassadors Summit 7.0, where he worked with young people.[17]
