Olivia Reynolds (born December 13, 1991) is an American country music singer and songwriter from Cecil County, Maryland. After performing in musical groups throughout her childhood, she pursued a career country music in 2018. Reynolds released her first single entitled "Bad Timing" on August 27, 2020.

Early Life[edit]

Olivia Reynolds was born Friday, December 13, 1991, to Dennis (Sr.) and Dorothy Reynolds, and was raised in North East, Maryland. Reynolds has one younger brother; Dennis Reynolds, Jr.

Reynolds pursued her musical career as a young child and performed her very first public performance during May of 2003; at just 11 years old. During this performance, Reynolds performed Lionel Richie's "Truly". Throughout her childhood, Reynolds participated in many musical groups; including All-County Chorus, Select Choir, Elementary, Middle and High School Choirs[1]. In 2018, Reynolds decided to follow her passion and pursue a career in country music by taking inspiration from other female country music artists like Miranda Lambert, Dolly Parton and Loretta Lynn.

Career[edit]

In 2018, Reynolds decided to follow her passion and pursue a career in country music. In an effort to pursue music further, Reynolds found William Wright (lead guitarist) and began performing around Cecil County, Maryland at local venues, community events and fundraisers. Reynolds traveled to Nashville, Tennessee where she was able to performed at The Local, Layla's Honky Tonk and Doc Holliday’s. Shortly after, Reynolds met Terry Cullum (bassist) and formed a trio act which performed locally in Cecil County, Maryland under the name “Liv N’ Wright”.[2] In 2019, the trio found William Haaf (drummer) and made the transition into a full band, formally performing as “Olivia Reynolds”.

In 2019, Reynolds co-wrote her very first single "Bad Timing" with songwriter Josh Willis. "Bad Timing" was released on all major music platforms on August 27, 2020 and quickly gained attention from listeners all over the United States and in Canada.
