Sir Olu Okeowo is a Nigerian businessman, real-estate magnate and a philanthropist, he is the Chief Executive Officer at Gibraltar Constructions Nigeria, and a Knight of the John Wesley Anglican Church,[1]known for his exqusite victorian lifestyle he owns the $12 Million Palacio De Okeowo Mansion at Parkview Estate, Ikoyi, Lagos[2][3][4].[5].

Early Life[edit]

Sir Clement Oluwatunminu Okeowo (KJW) was born in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, in Nigeria, to Sir Taiwo Okeowo a popular pastor and a choir master, he has lived and studied Medicine in Austria, Antigua and The Dominican Republic.[6]He appeared in an interview saying he is fluent in Portuguese, Latin, and Spanish[7]

Recognition and Philanthropy[edit]

In 2015, the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, Idi-Araba, announced that okeowo has donated a multi-million naira Physiotherapy Centre to the institution[8], He was honoured with the Exemplary Philanthropist Award by the Faculty of Clinical Sciences,for his donation[9][10]In 2019,The Association of Radiographers of Nigeria, honoured him as the Grand Patron of the association.[11][12]Amidst the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic Okeowo, through his foundation, Sir Olu Okeowo Foundation, launched a food bank where 100,000 people where given assorted foodstuff and other items in Lagos State.[13] [14]

Personal Life[edit]

Sir Okeowo is married to Mrs. Adejoke Okeowo and they have three children.[15][16]He also owns The Gibraltar Ochestra Band and plays the The Organ Instrument alongside his band.[17]
