Olusola Oluwagbemiga Oyebade professionally known as Sola Oyebade or Mr. Mahogany (born 18 November 1962) is a British-Nigerian actor and fashion executive[1][2] He is the founder of Mahogany International and Fashions Finest Africa.[3] He is known for the movies, 93 Days and The Bling Lagosians.[4]
Early life and education
Olusola Oluwagbemiga Oyebade was born on 18 November, 1962 in Hackney, East London, England.[5] He was born to Nigerian parents, Mr. Thomas Oyebade, a chartered accountant and Mrs. Christianah Oyebade, a nurse. His parents both originate from Ondo Town, Ondo State in Nigeria.
Oyebade spent most of his childhood in the United Kingdom. He attended Archway Comprehensive Secondary School in the United Kingdom. In 1977, he moved to Lagos, Nigeria and went to Maryland Comprehensive Secondary School. In 1981, he returned to the United Kingdom, where he completed his A-levels at Islington Sixth Form Centre.
In 1986, he graduated from the University of Lagos with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology.[6]
Career
Oyebade's pursuit of modeling and entertainment started while he was an undergraduate student at the University of Lagos.[7] After his university education in 1986, he moved back to the United Kingdom and decided to venture fully into the entertainment industry. [8] There, he started out as a disc jockey and show organizer.
In 1996, he established his own company, Mahogany International, an event production company that focuses on events management, fashion shows and theatre productions. In 2006, he founded Mahogany Models, a modeling agency.[9] In 2016, Oyebade made his acting debut as the Ambassador in the 2016 movie 93 Days, starring alongside Danny Glover and Bimbo Akintola.[10]
In 2017, he founded Fashions Finest Africa,[11] the convener of Epic Show; a fashion event for new and emerging fashion entrepreneurs, which debuted its first show in 2018.[12][13]
In 2019, he also starred in movie Bling Lagosians.
In 2023, he was one of the judges at the second edition of Miss Tourism, Nigeria which held in Lagos.[14]

Personal life
Oyebade is currently married to Aderinola Oyebade. Together, they have a daughter. He also has two children from his ex-wife, who currently resides in the United States.[6]
