Omer Farooq
Omer Farooq (Urdu عمر فاروق) born January 5, 1985, is a Pakistani actor, singer, documentary director, and photographer born in Doha, Qatar. He received his education in his hometown of Qatar and later moved to Pakistan to pursue his passion for the arts.
Career
Omer Farooq, while working as an entrepreneur in Dubai, joined the media industry with his acting debut in the drama serial Dharkan, alongside Javed Sheikh, Waseem Abbas, Adeel Chaudhry, Zara Abbas, and Ghana Ali. The serial, produced by MD Productions, was scheduled to air on HUM TV in June 2016. He was also working on another project, Khaleej (working title), under Eveready Productions and MD Productions, with Abid Ali, Javeria Abbasi, Shamil Khan, Mahjabeen, and Humaira Bano.
Personal life
Omer Farooq is also a digital artist, documentary director, and photographer. Omer Farooq married Waheeda Kanwal in August 2014.
