Oowara Sumito (大童澄瞳 Sumito Ōwara, born March 19)[1] is a mangaka and illustrator from Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan.He is best known for creating the anime , Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!. He graduated from the Toyo Institute of Art and Design, has diploma in Painting[2].
Biography[edit]
During High School, he joined the Movie Club[2]. After graduated the Toyo Institute of Art and Design, has a diploma in Painting, learned how to draw animation by himself[2]. He was writing at COMITIA（コミティア）[3]111, Original Independence Comic Exhibition, and his Manga attracted the editor of the Monthly Big Comic Spirits attention which brought him to the professional carrier. His professional debut in 2016 with Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!, in Shogakukan's seinen manga magazine Monthly Big Comic Spirits[2].
In December 2017, he won the grand prize of "Bros Comic Award 2017", the manga award of "TV Bros.", for "Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!"[4]. This was also ranked 15th in "This Manga is Amazing! 2018, Man Edition"[5], and 7th in "THE BEST MANGA 2018 Read This Manga!"[6].
When an anime television series adaptation by Science SARU production started, he joined as an Animater of the Anime Endings.[7]
