Oriana Ledesma

Oriana Ledesma is a journalist, actress, producer, best known for her award-winning coverage of the Iraq war and her roles in National Geographic’s miniseries The Long Road Home. Ledesma attended the University of Southern California where she double majored in Journalism and American Studies and Ethnicity.[1] The Filipino-American scholar joined El Dorado Films [2] with a focus on research and story development. The self-identified queer filmmaker is currently producing Conte A Short Story, a film about the first transgender person elected onto a city council in U.S. history Joanne Conte.[3]
