Early life and ammeter career.[edit]
Kellington attended Union 32 High School in East Montpelier, Vermont. Kellington Played varsity baseball as a notable pitcher and hitter throughout his years playing for Union 32 High School.
In Kellingtons junior year he committed to play NCAA Division I baseball at University of Connecticut on a full athletic scholarship.
Just after graduating from Union 32 High School in spring of 2021, Kellington went to play Collegiate summer baseball for the Vermont Lake Monsters located in Burlington, Vermont. Kellington played pitcher throughout the summer.
Professional Career[edit]
In the fourth round of the 2021 Major League Baseball draft Kellington was selected by the Pittsburgh Pirates as a Right handed pitcher.
Kellington was the all time highest Major League Baseball draft pick in history to be selected from Vermont.
On July 31 2021, Kellington signed a $600,000 contract to play professional baseball for the Pittsburgh Pirates.
