Tech Queens is a amateur 3v3 basketball team that was formed from the now defunct Sillicon Conference League. They know compete in the Queens of the Qourt Tournament.
History[edit]
Starting in the slums of the Chicago neighborhood Lakeview, Tech Queens started out under the name of Show Queens, but slowly pivoted to the name we all know and love today. They aren't completely sold on the new name change, but the money says otherwise. They are known for their innovative and creative style of play, taking cues from the ground breaking geniuses of the Silicon Valley.
Logo and Early Designs[edit]
The logo was ripped off and designed by the design team at the league's office.
The logo consists of a robot in front of data style font (Heavy Data) that reads "Tech Queens" in a Matrix Style overlay.
Early designs are for Show Queens. They looked like the name of the team boxed in by broadway lights.
Sponsorship[edit]
Their main sponsor is a podcast known as "Shenanigans on Sheridan". An irreverent and irrelevant podcast that dives into the Shenanigans of life. Each episode is comprised of the two hosts, Phill and Chris, and a guest swapping sub-par Shenanigan stories. You can find them anywhere you get your podcasts.
