Owen Cowper

Owen Cowper (born 2009) is a Canadian ice hockey and baseball player from Ottawa, Ontario. He has played ice hockey for the Nepean Raiders in the Ottawa-based OBMHL and baseball for the West Ottawa Pirates. He also represents Bell High School in both sports and is part of the class of 2027.

Early life

Cowper was born in Ottawa, Ontario, in 2009. He began playing organized sports at a young age, and in 2018 he was named a Minor All-Star in Little League baseball.[1]

Ice hockey career

Cowper began his hockey career with the Nepean Raiders. He played for the U14 AA team in the 2022–23 season and advanced to the U15 B and U16 B teams in subsequent OBMHL seasons. He is 5'0 tall, weighs 100 lbs, and shoots left/right.

Baseball career

Cowper has played baseball at various levels, including with the West Ottawa Pirates 16U Open team during the 2024–25 season.[2] He has also represented Bell High School in baseball competitions.[3]
