History
The company began in 1919 as the Snyder Chair Company in Conneautville, Pennsylvania, producing hardwood folding chairs. It was renamed Palmer Snyder in the 1970s and later adopted the PS Furniture name while continuing to use the Palmer Snyder brand for some product lines.[5]
Operations
PS Furniture supplies products for schools, higher education, hospitality venues, convention centers, and other multipurpose facilities. Its furniture is also distributed through public-sector purchasing cooperatives such as OMNIA Partners.[6] Independent directories list facilities in Mequon, Wisconsin, and Conneautville, Pennsylvania.[7][8] In 2025, The Washington Post referenced the company in reporting on U.S. trade policy and Pennsylvania manufacturing.[9]
