Pabitra Puppies is a crime thriller Bengali web series solely shot from respective smartphones of the lead casts, cause all the shooting has been during the lockdown period of COVID-19 situation.[1]
Description[edit]
The storyline of the series revolves around a group of friends who play the same mobile game and connected via an old whats app group named #pabitrapuppies. Things went wrong when they all start dropping dead one after the other. The series is directed by Debaloy Bhattacharya who previously directed Montu Pilot, Holy Faak, Charitraheen, Dupur Thakurpo for hoichoi.[2]
The series features Vikram Chatterjee, Sohini Sarkar, Saurav Das, Saayoni Ghosh, Rj Sayan, Ankita Chakraborty, DebapriyoBagchi popularly known as Bubble in the lead roles.[3]
Hoichoi released the teaser of the series on 6 June 2020.[4][5] Previously, Case Jaundice was released on the same platform which was also shot during the lockdown situation.[6][7] The series started streaming on the OTT platform hoichoi from 13 June 202 with five episodes.[8][9][10]
