Pachakale-Pachkale (Marathi: पाचकाळे)[1] is an Indian title or surname native to Maharashtra. Many Pachakale's were in to farming & warriors in the Maratha army. Pachakale is a surname in Maratha.

"Pachakale" spreade in the Pachim Maharashtra and Konkan are Maratha people of Maharashtra. The native language of Pachakale is predominantly either Marathi. Pachakale's are native of Pachim Maharashtra (Pune District) also located at Konkan. Mostly Pachakales are in the Chhatrapati Shambhaji Maharaj bhumi Kapulhor-Harichandri Village in Pune District.

Pachakales are the Inamdar before and during British Raj, including during the Maratha rule and other rulers of India. In some places Inamdar's are known as Goudar, Banakar, Patelru, Patil and Mokaddam or 'Mukadam' meaning is Chief [2] Man (King of Village).
