Padamjeet Sehrawat (born 09th December 1973), is an Indian singer[1], anchor, commentator, composer, performer and a motivational speaker[2]. A former first class cricketer[3], he is a powerhouse of talent. Has anchored more than 3000 sports shows on TV and happens to be India’s leading bilingual commentator[4]. His 'Musical Talkshaala’ is making waves and is one of its kind concepts that stitch the power of speech and mellifluous singing, beautifully.

Personal life[edit]

Sehrawat was born on 09th December 1973 in Gurgaon, Haryana, India. He did his schooling from Motilal Nehru School of Sports, Rai, Sonipat, Haryana. He graduated from Hindu College, Delhi University, Delhi. Sehrawat is married to Anjali Sehrawat with whom he has two children Aman sehrawat & Vivaan sehrawat.

Career[edit]

As a Cricketer[edit]

Padamjeet is a former first class cricketer who represented Haryana in Ranji trophy[5]. He played all junior level cricket for Haryana and captained the junior state team too. In the season of 1999-2000, his performances in Ranji trophy brought him into the north zone team for Deodhar Trophy. Sehrawat represented Delhi University and also was picked for the north zone team for Vizzy trophy.

As a Commentator[edit]

In 2004, Sehrawat started his career as a broadcaster. The journey began with a first runner–up position in DREAM JOB - Harsha Ki Khoj, a nationwide talent hunt for anchors and commentators on ESPN. Since then he has been a sports commentator and presenter across all major platforms.
His work has been seen and heard on Zee Sports, Star Sports, Sony Six, Sony Ten, ESPN, Times Now, DD Sports, Mirror Now, Star Sports 2 and Star Sports 1, etc. Having given his voice and presence to IPL, ISL, Pro Kabaddi League, Kabaddi World Cup, Wimbledon, BCCI, ONE Championship , BCL, TNPL, NBA, Olympics, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, Sehrawat covers all sports with utmost amount of ease and comfort.

As a Writer & Composer[edit]

Paddy as he is popularly known as, is a writer and composer par excellence too. With his partner Kamal Joshi, he has composed more than 400 originals. His first album INDIA HAI MERI JAAN was released on HMV Saregama in 2009[6]. The title song has the distinction of featuring the maximum number of celebrities in the video. Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, Gautam Gambhir, Harbhajan Singh, Piyush Chawla, Rohit Sharma, Irfan Pathan, Imtiaz Ali, Randeep Hooda, Neetu Chandra and others featured in the video. His latest hit ‘Chal Dost’ on Indie Music has been one of the most circulated video on WhatsApp.
