Park Hae-yoon (Korean: 박해윤, born January 10, 1996),[1] also known by her stage name Haeyoon (Korean: 해윤), is a South Korean singer, dancer and musical actress. She debuted as a member of the South Korean girl group Cherry Bullet in 2019. Aside from her group's activities, Haeyoon is also known for being a former contestant in the 2018 reality girl group survival show Produce 48 and the 2019 musical reality survival show V-1.
Early life
Haeyoon was born on January 10, 1996 in Suncheon, South Jeolla, South Korea. She has an older brother.
Career
2018: Produce 48, Cherry Bullet
She was originally a contestant on Mnet's 2018 girl group survival show Produce 48. A 3-year and 10-month trainee representing FNC Entertainment, she appeared on the show along with former fellow labelmate and trainee Cho Ah-yeong. Haeyoon finished in 19th place in the finale and was eliminated, thus not making it to the final lineup of the debut unit team Iz*One.[2]
After the show's conclusion, on November 22, 2018, Haeyoon was introduced as the fourth member of Cherry Bullet.[3]
2019-present: Debut with Cherry Bullet, solo activities
She made her debut as a member of Cherry Bullet with their first single album Let's Play Cherry Bullet on January 21, 2019.[4]
In September, Haeyoon participated in the vocal reality survival show V-1.[5] However, on September 15, she was eliminated in the competition's second round after she lost to Dreamcatcher's Siyeon.[6]
On December 13, 2019, former fellow Cherry Bullet members Mirae, Kokoro and Linlin left the group after deciding to terminate their exclusive contracts with FNC Entertainment. Not long afterward, Haeyoon was appointed as Cherry Bullet's new leader as she is the group's eldest member.[7]
On February 18, 2022, after she underwent a PCR test, FNC Entertainment announced that Haeyoon had tested positive for COVID-19, though she only experienced a symptom of a mild sore throat.[8]
