Parkpnp is an Irish owned global parking marketplace company.[1] [2] operating across numerous countries. [3] The service offers a mobile app and website which is available across Europe. The company is based in Dublin, Ireland.
Service[edit]
Parkpnp is an app, available for the iOS and Android store [4]. App users can book or list parking spaces. It focuses on both on-street and off-street parking partnering with local government [5], local businesses [6] and resident homeowners. The app allows users to book hourly, daily, weekly, monthly or yearly depending on the space, in many cases users receive a discount. The company also works with businesses around the world to help their employee retention by sourcing convenient parking for employees.
Acquisitions[edit]
In September 2017 Parkpnp sold it's first franchise to a Netherlands based company [7] to former Head of Bilfinger, Patrick Kremer, a multinational property management company in a multi-million euro deal. The deal will allow the Netherlands based company to use the Parkpnp brand and product. The franchise will likely compete with the Austrian based company, Kerb, according to the Irish newspaper Fora. The Dutch deal is expected to be one of many franchise deals with reports there will be franchises in Hungary and South Africa in the coming months [8]. However, other reports have stated that Parkpnp will franchise to selected countries and other countries will be operated by Parkpnp[9]
History[edit]
Irish entrepreneurs Garret Flower [10] [11] and Daniel Paul founded Parkpnp in 2015. The Dublin based company is currently completing its Europe and global expansion in 2018, It has raised funding from various Venture Capital throughout Europe and received government funding from Enterprise Ireland. The company was founded from the CEO's frustration looking for parking in South Dublin. [12]
