Patile

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

The patile is a cargo boat of South Asian rivers--in particular, the River Ganges of India. Its design dates back centuries, featuring a clinker-built hull, a large side rudder, sail (typically lugsail) rigging, and a deckhouse with a thatch roof topped by a catwalk.[1]
