Manik became Samithi President for the Andole Constituency as a member of the Indian National Congress party.[citation needed]
Telugu Desam Party
Manik joined Telugu Desam Party and became a member of parliament from Medak district in the year 1986.[2][3]
Chairman
Manik Reddy was the chairman of Andhra Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation for two terms and also for Andhra Pradesh Forest Development Corporation for two terms.[citation needed]
General Secretary and Politburo
Manik Reddy was the general secretary and politburo member of Telugu Desam Party until 2004. He joined Bharat Rashtra Samithi in 2014.[citation needed]
Death
Manik Reddy died in his house at Jubilee Hills, Telangana, due to organ failure.[4][5][6][7]
