Patrick Judge is the third and current lead guitarist for the Christian metal band, Demon Hunter.[9] He also played in The Showdown[10] and live guitar for Bleeding Through. He has also done session work for Love & Death.[11]

History

Judge joined both The Showdown[10] and Demon Hunter[9] around the same time. But, he was an official member in Showdown and just a fill-in for the latter.[citation needed]

The Showdown

In 2009, original guitarist Travis Bailey quit the band and Judge took over guitar. He as well as Jeremiah Scott and DH drummer Timothy "Yogi" Watts played on the Showdown's most recent album, Blood in the Gears, in 2010.[6] The band went on hiatus on August 21, 2011.

Demon Hunter

Judge joined Demon Hunter in 2008, as a fill-in for lead guitarist Ethan Luck who left to join Relient K,[12] and rhythm guitarist Don Clark left to join Invisible Creature.[12] Judge officially joined in 2009, with touring member, Randy Torres (formerly Project 86).[13] Ryan Helm officially took of rhythm guitar, and the band recorded Judge and Helm's debut Demon Hunter album, The World Is a Thorn in 2010.[1] Helm left soon after the release, and was replaced by Jeremiah Scott.[citation needed] The band recorded True Defiance (2012) and Extremist (2014) with this line-up.

Other work

Judge filled in for Bleeding Through guitarist in 2009 on the Thrash and Burn European Tour and a 2013 tour.[14] He also currently plays live for country singer, Benton Blout, as does DH drummer Timothy Watts.[15]
