Paul Rudall (1921-2012) was a British painter who worked in a number of styles using a variety of media. Rudall was born London 6 February 1921. He served in the RAF in the Second World War and then studied at Bath School of Art under William Scott and Kenneth Armitage. After graduating, he was employed as head of art at Chiswick grammar school and then at Dudley Grammar School. He also lectured extensively on art history at Birmingham University and the Workers Educational Association. In the 1970s Rudall was commissioned to paint a mural at Birdcage Walk shopping centre in Dudley.

Following early retirement from teaching in 1980, Rudall moved back to Bath where he continued to paint until his death on 10 February 2012 [1], exhibiting in galleries in Bath, St Ives and London. Works by Rudall are held in the permanent collections of Hereford Museum and Art Gallery and Swindon Museum and Art Gallery.
