Pedro Henrique (São Paulo, 22 May 2008), better known as Pedrojoga5766 or Pedrojoga[1] is a Brazilian YouTuber, singer, writer and music producer, he is known for making shitpost humor videos and songs. In addition to the ‘Pedrojoga’ channel, Pedro owns Jogando até zerar, a longplay channel created on 25 February 2023 with his brother Paulojoga900.
Pedro is also known for his pseudonym called Crash,[2] a music project using samples from the 90s and 2000s, which was announced on his YouTube music channel on 28 March 2024. His debut album, Crashcore, was released on 9 September 2024.
Biography
Pedro was born in São Paulo on 22 May 2008, he has a brother called Paulo. Pedro doesn't like to show his face much, because he prefers to protect his privacy, very little information about his youth is public.
Career on YouTube
2019-2020: start of career
At the age of 11, Pedro started doing gameplay on his YouTube channel. After a series of videos, he started doing a series of minecraft on his channel. In 2020, Pedro created another channel called ‘Pedrojoga5766 2’, where he posted videos of minecraft and electronic games. That same year, with the COVID-19 Pandemic, Pedro stopped making YouTube videos and deleted his two channels, causing him to disappear from the internet.
2021-present: the return to the internet
In 2021, after a year's hiatus, Pedro returned to the internet with a photo on his Instagram. The photo was from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. In July 2022, Pedro created a Twitter account, his first tweet was ‘pedrojoga5766 has twitter wow’,[3] in August 2022, Pedro posted a video on his new channel called ‘how to download ps2 emulator for android (100% real)’, months later this video was taken private.
On 25 February 2023, a longplay channel was created, called Playing to completion, with special guest appearances from Paulojoga900, Maatt, Doug'h UnFunny™, Notuno and Kenny, they are making a series of ‘’Donkey Kong Country,‘’ an electronic Game released on 21 November 1994 on Super Nintendo.
Musical career
As well as being a YouTuber, Pedro has two careers, one as a music producer, and another as a singer. In 2022, he stated that he was producing a new project called história do pedro parte 1, featuring maatt on Extended play (EP). On 19 November 2023, he stated that he was writing a book for his next release, he said: ‘Before this is forgotten, yes, I'm writing a book for my ep, I know no one will read it but this first release is important to me’.[4]
On 12 June 2024, Pedro released a demo version of his book with just 18 pages on his Twitter account. After reaching the end of the book, a message is displayed with the text ‘This was the book, remember that this version is demo and not complete, the full version may arrive soon, thanks for reading this demo of the book, I really enjoyed writing this book, I hope I don't delay releasing the full version, I really want to release this version, thanks for waiting for this release, bye guys, see you in the next version’.
Crash
In March 2024, Pedro stated that he was starting to do a new project, he said: ‘Very soon there will be a project of mine that I really want to do, it's still written down in the notebook, one day it might come out of the paper.’[5] On 24 March 2024, Pedro posted a preview of the song ‘work for boys’ on his Twitter,[6] days later Crash's first single was released on 28 March 2024 on YouTube and SoundCloud. Crash's second single ‘We smoke like it's our life’ was released on 21 June 2024. Crash's third and final single ‘This is cool’ was released on 15 July 2024. In the description of the third song on YouTube, Pedro stated that he will be releasing a new project in September,[7] he also said he was going to release it for digital platforms.
A few days later he said he wasn't going to release them on digital platforms, so as not to get into trouble with copyright. Pedro: ‘I said I was going to release the crash songs on digital platforms, but now I don't want to, so I don't get in trouble for samples’[8]
On 29 August 2024, Pedro posted a photo of the cover of his future album on all his social networks,[9] Pedro said that the album was announced at short notice and because of the Blocking X in Brazil. Crashcore was released on 9 September 2024.
After releasing his first album, Pedro said that he has started producing Crash's second album, which won't be released until 2025.[10]
