Phenix Red (Singer) was born and raised in rural Wisconsin and currently lives and works in the Nashville area. Phenix is a multi-talented artist, singer, songwriter, producer and director who is rapidly gaining popularity for her unique and fiery theatrical musical style.

In 2020, Phenix Red released her self-directed visual album for her project ‘The Chariot’ which consisted of 4 music videos and 6 songs ('Moses', 'Summerside', 'Stand Up', 'Headline Readers', 'Cinnamon Medicine', and 'Hanging on the Edge'.) Her rising hit ‘Bad News’. Other original titles include: 'Owe You Something', 'Summerside', 'Vadoom Boom', and ‘Raggedy Ann’, 'Moses', and 'Hanging on the Edge'.

To date, Phenix has published more than 40 videos to her YouTube channel. Though her channel currently has less than 1,000 followers, her visually artistic music videos are rapidly gaining in popularity. The official video for 'Bad News' (published April 10, 2020) has garnered more than 96,000 views. Her 'Owe You Something' music video premiered on November 12, 2020 and gained 34,285 views within one week.

Career[edit]

Phenix writes and composes all of her own music and plays an active role in production. Working mainly with her in-house producer PlayDatBeatWeeWee, Phenix also collaborates with other producers in the Nashville, Atlanta, and DC areas. She is currently working on a record with Atlanta producer Joe Millionaire. Phenix frequently travels from Nashville, to Houston, Atlanta, New York City, DC, and Charlotte, NC to perform and record. She has opened for artists Just Brittany, and Dej Loaf. She has also recorded tracks with other artists Romeo Miller, Cassidy, Jadakiss, and Jim Jones. Ron Browning, the well-known Music City "vocal coach to the stars", is her vocal coach.

Personal Life and Advocacy[edit]

Born and raised in a rural Wisconsin town, Phenix moved to Nashville shortly after graduating high school where she recorded her first album (which she never released) and completed a Recording Engineering degree.

Phenix Red is an active Lyme Disease survivor and public activist/advocate (#lymewarrior). She is also an Ambassador to the international non-profit organization, "Free For Life", that works to rescue, rehabilitate, and restore the lives of sex trafficking victims. Many of her lyrics reflect deeply personal and often dark life and mental health struggles. Phenix has noted that she aspires to be a "voice to the voiceless."
