Phil Lines

Phil Lines is a British sports businessman who has worked as a senior executive for the English association football Premier League, Creative Artists Agency's sports division, and Lagardère Group.

Career

He began his career as a sports journalist and holds an MSc in Media Management. He worked for the Premier League as their media executive from 2002-2010, helping to boost their television sales overseas, leading to them winning a Queen's Award for International Trade.[1] He then took a job with Creative Artists Agency.[2] At CAA he was involved in plans for a European football league which would break away from existing national league structures.[3] In 2012, following CAA's decision to wind down their operations in European sport, he joined Lagardere Unlimited, part of French media conglomerate Lagardère Group.[4][5]
